I was a bike mechanic for many years in my youth, and while I have a day job, bike repair is still something I enjoy doing. With the (SIX) kids & subsequent bike fleet I have, it's a necessity! Here's my pitch. I'll fix any bike you have, and I'll charge less than the shops are charging. You won't have to leave town to get the job done. Either you can drop it off at my house, or we can talk & I'll come to your house, pick the bike up, do the repair, and bring it back. If I can't manage the repair or you aren't happy with the work, then there will be no charge. It's really as simple as that.

What makes this work? I have years of experience, a complete set of bicycle repair tools, and do the work in my backyard shed. The only thing I need to get paid for is my time. Since I also have a day job, most of my repair work will happen on the weekends. If you need your bike repaired today, depending on my family obligations, I might be able to help, but I can't promise instant service every time. However, if you can wait a few days, I might be just what you are looking for!

The main challenge is that if you need a part, I may need to order it since I'm not in a position to stock a vast array of components. I shop online for repair parts & get very good prices.
